The easiest way to travel between Munich and Passau is by train, with frequent departures throughout the day.

For this reason, I recommend staying in Passau’s Old Town whenever possible. Even if your ship is reassigned to Winterhafen Racklau or Lände Lindau, you’ll still be close to restaurants, cafés, and Passau’s main attractions. On embarkation day, it’s usually just a short taxi ride to your ship.

Winterhafen Racklau

A short taxi ride is usually the easiest way to reach your ship.
Lände Lindau
Located about 2–3 miles from Old Town, this docking area typically requires a taxi, shuttle, or local bus.
